Default Neighbours/Noise

Now is it unreasonable of me not to expect to get woken up each morning at seven am by my neighbour operating a mini digger as he does his driveway ?

I was thinking that perhaps as it was bank holiday he may defer his activities until perhaps 9am, its been the last three morning, I think I am going to have to ask politely that tomorrow he keeps quiet so I get at least one lie before its back to my normal 6.30 start.

If it were me, I'd threaten to use his mini-digger to dig a 6x6x3 ft pit and place him firmly in it.

Not unreasonable at all. I take you are not the only neighbour that is of this opinion?

Get a posse together, and give the cheeky **** what for!

I thought it was unwritten law that people should not start noisy machinery untill after 11am on a public holiday.

A copper once told me you can do whatever DIY you like between 7am, and 9pm, so as long as it's him doing it, then there's nothing'illegal' about it..... sorry!

It would be nice for him to give consideration to others though!!

There is laws. Speak to your local Environment lot at the Council. Should be no activity before 8am or after 6pm. Does not include general DIY or lawn mowers. Oh and never on a Sunday or Bank Holiday. Some folks show no consideration for others.

This morning and most of last week as i was off work, nice rest over the holidays,i have been woken up by the ******* who live next door to me.

As i live in a semi-detached house,we can hear every noise they make.
This include the fowl mouthed ****e who screams at his/her kids constantly, when i say constantly i mean CONSTANTLY.

They are always arguing with each other, jesus how many times have i refrained from going round and knocking him out???

Im really at a loss some days because if you contact the environmental guys, when you come to sell the house by LAW you have to tell the buyers, now whilst thats sly of me not to, i dont expext the scotes to be there for ever as i believe they are only renting.

We could tell the land lord who we get on with really well, but it's his sister in law,so you can see the problems i have...

At least yours J4CKO will end soon enough, mine how ever, well ill probably end up in court for bleedin asault.

Steve, f*ckin ell, I dont really have any cause to moan really do I, I actually get on with the chap, dont want to offend him (speeding neighbours I dont mind offending) so hopefully he may desist as it look fairly done, Jackos mate is right in saying he wears age 8 nylon shorts, usually without a shirt for the benefit of the local ladies (no we dont want a coach trip up here 84, Sara etc) as when he first arrived I thought it was a f*ckin terminator !
