I'm viewing the above pictures on a laptop LCD screen so doubt I'd appreciate what is so good about them. Care to enlighten?

A TV screen that is as thin as a piece of wallpaper? Now that's a flat screen!

But do you have to pattern match it when you install it?

I reckon at least 2 - 5 yrs at least. they haven`t got the life or the abilty to make large screens yet. And also it still might go the way of SED, if they cannot make it an attractive package for the price. Especially as LCD and plasma panels continue to fall in price as the yields go up.

Why do you need a screen that thin in your home unless you live in a cardboard box. Even the best plasmas/lcds are having 'issues' with their picture quality, whats the point of going thinner and compromising quality of images???

Picture quality isn't a function of screen thickness. The OLED screens spank plasmas and LCD screens.
