I heard that the RAF dropped 1000's of leaflets of Margaret Beckett naked and with the following waring
"Give back our plucky lads and lasses or we will drop the rest of the Marge at large and nekked album!"
Glad to hear they are to be released, good news and the best outcome for all
I am sure BLair and his ****ehawks will be taking the glory for this forgetting they put them in this situation with little back up in the first place

Moses, lets not go down that road, the Iranians ahve a terirble human rights record of their own and think nothing of putting children who have committed 'crimes' to death.

"Ahmadinejad asked Blair not to "punish" the crew for confessing that they had been in Iranian waters when they were seized by Iranian coast guard. Iran broadcast video of some of the crew giving confessions, angering Britain.
He also criticized Britain for deploying Turney in the Gulf, pointing out that she is a woman with a child.
"How can you justify seeing a mother away from her home, her children? Why don't they respect family values in the West?" he asked of the British government. "

i hear they only put murderers and social parasites and rapists etc tae shame and death but whit he said u need tae agree wae him instead of blair invading he should look after his own people, so where is he wrong and i agree iran should dae the same but ahmadinejad is trying , u can check it up but the mad mullahs put a stop tae what he tries tae dae, he aint got much power

Moses, BLair (as much as i despise him) did not invade Iran, there is some speculation to the actual poisition of the borders and where the navy personnel & marines were picked up. I doubt if this will ever be gotten to the bottom of, or the truth come out.
I do not trust NL but trust the Iranins and the politicians even less.
Even with our depleated armed forces an invasion would be a bit better sorted than a dingable-rubber-flatey, several marines a few Navy sorts and a handful of SA80's and a packet of extra strong mints!
All that really matters is that our people are coming home!
I would like to think that if there is a next time our service personnel will be better equipped and backed up...

dude nae worries we r all entitled tae oor opinions all i can say is i trust ahmadinejad mair than i will ever trust blair, but regarding the boat going intae iranian waters, only God knows and the marines and the iranians know the truth
yes im glad they r coming back, a good thing came oot of it, we got some good entertainment the day and the marines r happy and seeing their families so happy made me smile and made my day lol their parents and brothers were jumping like mad on tv haha, before they woz worried if their kids or brothers will get killed in iraq and now at least their children were safe in iran and also now coming home and also they have become celebrities nae chance of that happening before, if something happened in iraq either they would have been killed or maimed and paraysled for life and all they will get is a sh1te pension
im glad they r in good health and will enjoy easter wae their families
i luv human stories, people tae people stories, this had a good ending

Great move by Iran really - US/UK were probably about to bomb their nuclear installations using the hostage situation as their justification, but now Iran has shown itself in a good light by releasing the hostages (and making the most of the good publicity) so looks like Iran will have a while longer to get all their nuclear weapons processing facilities underground....
