£1.5m pa to rent a roundabout...............
A shame the iconic Concorde r'bout will change, but £1.5m pa !

Was on the staff bus going past the Concorde roundabout recently. The new IT contractor next to me says:
"I knew said Concorde was small, but seeing it up close, I see what they mean"
I had to point out its a 1/3 scale model.
Shame to see the old girl go, but that's BAA for you. Prostituting every possible sq foot to the highest bidder. Not even sure if the Concorde currently parked up by the BA engineering sheds is going to be in the T5 plaza either.

Managed to get a piccy of an A380 and Concorde side by side on Monday. 
The A380 was at Filton, Bristol for the week for testing.
Shame the model at Heathrow is going
