Women drivers in the fog.

Women drivers in the fog.
It's very foggy here today, and I had to drive out of town around 8:45. Since there was little, or no traffic going MY way, I drove at a sedate 35mph and observed the traffic coming INTO town.
Visibility was 35m or so, not good.
I still saw, (but only just), no end of cars with either just sidelights on, or NONE at all
And I have to say, that, with the exception of two scruffy works vans and a Landrover driven by a Colonel Blimp lokalike, ALL those with insufficient lighting were driven by women.
What IS it with women drivers? I thought they were supposed to be safer than us men, (yeah, right)?
I'm SURE I've posted similar before, so why aren't all the women out there, reading this and thinking, "Alcazar sounds a sensible fella. I'll drive with my lights on from now on....."
Or not.

At that time of day they were probably too busy sorting their make up in the rear view mirror to even notice the fog

This morning I was driving to work in a little bit of light mist and noticed this bloke behind me driving very erratically. He was looking at every female driver coming in the opposite direction and paying no attention to the road whatsover

It was the same in St Helens (land of the gods) this morning but yet fogless in Warrington (even the fog has taste)
I noticed the same thing... Loads of cars (didnt notice the gender of the drivers though) with sides or no lights on in St Helens
Then on the flip side how many rusty nuggets will spend the next 5 days forgetting to turn their foglights off and thus unintentionally resemble a person with genetalia on their heads??
The fog does weird things to folk

Probably a little like the chaps who drive in broad daylight with foglights going. Nothing more annoying that having to drive behind one of these , being blinded by the bright reds.

Strange thing was the bloke in front, instead of looking at said totty, kept looking at me in his rear view mirror!?!?!? takes all sorts I suppose

Never noticed myself but personally you can usually tell if someone has just bought an impreza, the foglights appear wired directly to the ignition

If its foggy enough to need foglights on, and I can clearly see you behind me I'd suggest you stop driving so bloody close...

Some drivers seem to forget that lights are for being seen as well as for seeing with, so they don't put them on if they can see ahead of themselves but forget that it is easier to see a cars lights than the car itself if it is foggy or getting dark / light.

know what you mean fella. finished work yesterday morning at 6.00am and driving home was a barrel of laughs. as i work in the depths of foxhills ind. est. at the top of the hill so to speak, it was its worst as it was still dark. i had my full beams on, front and rear foggies on and visability was still minus 50 metres or so. even i didnt dare overtake anyone on striaghts for fear of unseen oncoming traffic.
was particularly bad wed morning here though...

Have to agree there... I was out yesterday morning too with correct lights on... and I was amazed at the blokes in bmws and other like saloons that had NO lights on whatsoever.. i might add... usually the same sort of drivers that have fog lights on in bright sunshine !!
