Have posted in DIY, but thought I'd get more reponse here.
Need a plasterer to box in soil stack and skim bathroom and en suite.
I'm in Battle East Sussex.
Anyone know of any
Thanks in advance
Nick

Can't help specifically other than to say I gave plastering a go myself while renovating the house and it's actually pretty easy. Mostly I had to put bonding / browning on first then skim, but if you're just going over plasterboard it's pretty straight forward

Think I still need a plasterer as we will be taking all the tiles off, it's about 80% tiled

£200 a day what you have to realise plasterers on site earn this money day in day out . Good ones do anyway. look to pay between £150-£200 for a good days work only go by recommendation.
As for being easy i suppose small crappy bits are easy to do most people can do it just like i could put a bowl around someones head and cut round it then call myself a hair dresser
Remember, the plaster finish is the bit you see so make sure its done well.
If your going to re tile over the top why not just take off all the old plaster and re plaster board no actual plastering involved.
