Last June I purchased a HD Dvd recorder from John Lewis.
It comes with a 2 year warranty.

It has decided it no longer wants to record and keeps reseting itself.
It play's stuff already recorded on the HD fine though

I have two problems:
1) I have loads of stuff recorded on it (24 & Lost mostly) - Which I might lose.
2) I won't be able to record anything else while they are repairing it.

I'll probably need to buy discs - Which I don't really think I should have to pay for.
Not sure how to get round problem 2??

Any suggestions?
