yes was going to, but then spent the cash on brakes, lol!
Going to wait a bit too until there are some games out that i really want to play. Really looking forward to it though when i do get one, would have bought one over xmas to pass the cold days, but scoob is at the front of the queue now!

had a US one back in december and dumped it, no better and honestly worse in a lot of parralel releases than the cheaper 360. worst money I spent considering I already have a 360. Good games will take another year anyway for it, by which time itll be less than 300 quid, new xbox spec will be out by then of course.
Rumour mill has it the european version will be useless for more than 50% of ps2 games becasue unlike the jap/us version which came with the emotion engine chip of the old ps2 the euro version wont, so it cant play upto 50% of ps2 software until patched, another reason to avoid for a year. Sony really need a kick up backside here i think.

I'm getting one, but I only really want the new grand theft auto
I think it should be a good thing for having a few beers with friends, dunno what the good multi-player games will be though?

No offence but this baffles me. are you aware when GTA is out? Are you aware it will also be on the 360 with additional extra content? you clearly have no idea of the games available for it yet will happily spend £400+ on one.

I think sony have'nt got that many pre-orders, lots of place still garauntee launch day deliveries even now. Would'nt suprise me if you could just walk in off the street and buy one!

just been into the local factory outlet near my home and the local "Virgin XS" store (virgin factory outlet cheaper dvd`s etc etc) is advertiseing ps3`s for pre order still
guess they never filled the order books..........

I have three on order......
But I'm just about to cancel as the demand isn't there and it is just far too expensive. Would quite like one for myself, but I'm not in a big hurry for one - I'll wait until my 360 breaks down and then see!
