Kil it, Cook it, Eat it.......
Who saw this last night on BBC Three?
I found it very interesting........ but i think the audience were the Top Gear cast offs. Most of them just stood around looking bored.
Moooo!

A bit gory in places – draining off the blood, cutting off the head and feet, the legs flaying about.
But I thought the people there were very professional and what they did; didn’t mess about, didn’t cause any undue stress to the animal and it was pleasing that each animal is checked by vets and health inspectors. I hope this is what it’s like in all abattoirs and its not just been ‘tarted’ up for the telly.
The stripped of head looked a bit eerie – especially when the rest of the animal was still more or less in tact…
Good program though

I watched it last night, that farm is on the hill above my parents house.
John Mettricks butchers is the butchers featured in "The League Of Gentlemen" - Royston Vasey (Hadfield) and he does cracking meat pies
Wasn't as bad as I'd been expecting.
Pigs tonight

thought the programme last night was excellent
i have actually been in slaughter houses several times and seen what happened last night,
you harden up to what you are doing ,the more relaxed you are the better for the animals, they don't pick up any nervous feeling from you
watching the butchers was brilliant, fantastic skill and very well executed
bet they don't show halal butchers
it makes so mad
