anyone work for laing o rourke on here?.
i have been offered a job with them and they seem very good. i am just interested to hear other peoples views on working for them.

well that went well then, not everyone is like that in the construction industry. i have worked for some bad ones but they seemed pretty organised and considering the amount of work they have they must be good.
as usual its the usual negative scoobynet answer, maybe i should not bother asking next time.

We do a lot of work with Select Plant Hire, a company that is a part of Laing O Rourke that provides all the plant for Laings' jobs - can't say a bad word about them anyway, speak as you find and all that.
Laing O Rourke are a major player in UK construction industry. A compant that size is always going to have its fair share of moaners - c'est la vie !
