i invite them in and they say they got a warrent for my arrest !!!

i ask wot for they say none payment ov fines

they tell me i use to own a vehicle in 2004 that wasnt taxed

i asked for the reg, and i have never owned a vehicle wiv that number

they tell me i gotta go to court TODAY !!!!!

i said but i never owned it

they said the hardest thing is gunna be proving i never owned it

i gotta go court at 1pm

im not a happy bunny

just tell them that you never owned this car - i mean how the hell are you supposed to prove that you never owned it.

Tell them you'll be putting expenses in as.

I'd also think about seeing a solicitior.

when i sold my A6 Quattro i cocked up with the paper work and the bloke who bought it off me never bothered putting it in his name. - btw i never got his full address

anyway i ended up getting a summons for speeding and numerous parking summons.

anyway i explained the situation to the DVLA and they were fine about it and it got sorted in the end

why dont you call the DVLA now and see what they can advise - they are quite helpful y'know

If they have you down for speeding they should also have photographic evidence, of at worst the rear of the car!

Right Liz when i was up for Kidnap and Torture once i made sure i got myself a Duty solicitor.

every court has these and they are nothing i think and it might not even get to the courtroom.

Give the court a call as well and ask about a duty solicitor

Ok you turn up speak to the Duty solicitor - he in turn has a word with the prosecution. righto ok there has obviously been a mistake, go home.
