At the end of Alien isn't she in a very small pair of pants just before donning the space suit to 'blow that thing out of the goddam airlock'

Newt is an irritating character indeed... however it is what drives Ripley to meet up with the Queen and on to the final showdown.
I love Alien 3 (Directors cut - so to speak) it makes a lot more sense
Alien Resurrection.. well. I am sorry to say I like that as well. Just from a technical and design perspective. They could have made it a lot better, yes. Set design is stunning along with the models and puppets.
Fantastic franchise....
along with Terminator.
and Predator!

Damm missed this 1 off my fave filmes. I ended up watching fast and the furious on ITV2.
Not too keen on the others but tend to watch the begginging of alien 3 just to see the schene which was filmed about 10 mins away from my house.

3 was plagued by in-fighting, fall outs and numerous rewrites.
It was David Finchers first full movie - he went on to do 7 and Fight Club.
Can't believe it took them so long to release the full version of 3. Theres still bits of Aliens I'd like to see that never made the directors cut.
The only thing I don't like about Resurection is the Queen is crap compared to Aliens and Joss Wedon (sp)mostly copied a an old comic series for the story so hardly original. Plus the Hybrid is poo to. When the Queen gives birth the freaky doctor (Brad Dourif) speaking says something completely different to what you here. PLUS the DVD release doesn't include where she wakes up on the table and breaks a doctors arm - why take it out?

Quality film - probably neck-and-neck with T2 to be the best sci-fi action movie of all time. The newer stuff which has far too much far-fetched CGI graphics in just isnt as good.
Alien is also excellent, and I also liked Alien3. 4th one is best forgotten.

It's pretty pointless watching Aliens on itv. What with the adverts and the missing bits, it's better to watch the directors cut on dvd.
Predator? Has to be the first one
Isn't Bill Paxton in Aliens, Terminator and Predator?
