At the end of Alien isn't she in a very small pair of pants just before donning the space suit to 'blow that thing out of the goddam airlock'

Jamie 01 March 2007 10:57 PM

Mostly quotes from the films.

"A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm. Every meal’s a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I LOVE the corps"

Apone :)

Jamie 01 March 2007 11:25 PM

I think Jenette goldstein has a thong on:norty: :lol1:

the_boy 01 March 2007 11:29 PM

Best Bit:

Where Bishop substitutes his hand with Hudson for the knife display lol

Great film, especially the Editor's edition.

Puppetmaster 01 March 2007 11:36 PM

Special Edition of the film is my personal favourite.

Extra guns! More quotes! Explains the Ripley/Newt thing more! More effects!

Just better!!

bootsy 01 March 2007 11:38 PM

so which is the worst film alien3 or 4.i think 4 i can only watch the first half.its just sh*t this could of been so much better.

unclebuck 01 March 2007 11:42 PM

Good cast - apart from 'newt'

Newt is an irritating character indeed... however it is what drives Ripley to meet up with the Queen and on to the final showdown.

I love Alien 3 (Directors cut - so to speak) it makes a lot more sense :)

Alien Resurrection.. well. I am sorry to say I like that as well. Just from a technical and design perspective. They could have made it a lot better, yes. Set design is stunning along with the models and puppets.

Fantastic franchise....
along with Terminator.

and Predator!

Janspeed 02 March 2007 01:29 AM

Suprised no one said it was "gay"! lol

ScoobyDriverWannabe 02 March 2007 02:59 AM

Damm missed this :( 1 off my fave filmes. I ended up watching fast and the furious on ITV2.

Not too keen on the others but tend to watch the begginging of alien 3 just to see the schene which was filmed about 10 mins away from my house.

3 was plagued by in-fighting, fall outs and numerous rewrites.

It was David Finchers first full movie - he went on to do 7 and Fight Club.

Can't believe it took them so long to release the full version of 3. Theres still bits of Aliens I'd like to see that never made the directors cut.

The only thing I don't like about Resurection is the Queen is crap compared to Aliens and Joss Wedon (sp)mostly copied a an old comic series for the story so hardly original. Plus the Hybrid is poo to. When the Queen gives birth the freaky doctor (Brad Dourif) speaking says something completely different to what you here. PLUS the DVD release doesn't include where she wakes up on the table and breaks a doctors arm - why take it out?

Petem95 02 March 2007 10:28 AM

Quality film - probably neck-and-neck with T2 to be the best sci-fi action movie of all time. The newer stuff which has far too much far-fetched CGI graphics in just isnt as good.

Alien is also excellent, and I also liked Alien3. 4th one is best forgotten.

EddScott 02 March 2007 10:30 AM

Just waiting to see what Aliens Vs Predator 2 is going to be like.

Hopefully not sh1t. Pred-Aliens this time :)

Nimbus 02 March 2007 10:30 AM

It's pretty pointless watching Aliens on itv. What with the adverts and the missing bits, it's better to watch the directors cut on dvd.

Predator? Has to be the first one :)

Isn't Bill Paxton in Aliens, Terminator and Predator?

Pred 2. And Hicks (Dwayne lol) is in T1 and Aliens. So funny the first time you watch the directors cut and he says his name is Dwayne.

Are they doing another one then? I think I was the only one in the world who actually enjoyed AVP.

SirFozzalot 02 March 2007 12:19 PM

Aliens is a great film, especially the directors cut/special edition, love it! :thumb:

Bill Paxton's character has some great lines.

"Game over man, game over" :D
