Default Odd i know, but how do u bust a lock

lost the key to my oil heating boiler, as per usual no-one in the house has ever seen it! boiler wont work and now i'm damn well pissed off cus i cant get near it to fix it. so any which way anyone know the easiest way to bust open the padlock?

PS i dont have an angle grinder

Depending on the padlock, get 2 bars that will fit inside the hoop then use them like a pair of sissors in reverse to lever apart (not together). This should open the lock. If too small, use 1 bar that will lever against the hasp of the lock.

Remember - long bar, less effort required. Also make sure that the bar you use is of sufficient strength.

If it's attached to something substantial a few healthy hits with a lump hammer downwards away from the loop usually springs most padlocks open.

had to give in and get a locksmith out, who took a hacksaw to it lol poor guy aparently was at it for ages! but if you read my next post, that will lead on from this annoying little bugger!
