Yup even got in work early to ensure an empty carpark!!!
Then walked in to the boss giving me points (as in 1 - 10) for my slides round the corners and how much snow was flying past my windows
Sadly the drive in was marred by 40 somethings being reduced to 90 year olds, "ooooh snow, can't do more than 15 mph even on a straight clear road"

I hope your boss took pictures - or better still a video.
Come on post it up

What a stupid statement. It's slippy so good advice to slow down. The idea is to drive as fast as the conditions allow, if that means 15mph so be it.

Actually every one else was doing 30 with no problems, whilst conditions were wet, they weren't slippy. Even the HGV's were doing 30.

one of the advantages of getting in early - all of us with 4WD had a go at a few slides in the car park this morning... and one guy did the obligitory handbrake turn into the parking space

yep, I got in early last time round for the obligatory 'fun' in the car park. Was hoping for the same this morning, alas, no snow at all, not even a frost !! Still, if it freezes tonight as they say it should, I'll make use of the empty car park in the morning.
