To be brutally honest,,, just taught you the very basic of survival techniques seemed to really skip through some sections..The part that got me was there were 5 Nigerians 4 of which could not swim at all..2 French whoose comunication skills were limited, 1 Polish girl dito previous statement.. the Nigerians took a hell of a lot of photos and did not seem to grasp the concept that maybe next week they could be in a real helicopter ditch and by christ i hope i aint on that chopper, depending on there team work skills to save my bacon...The fire fighting part was very interesting.Really got a lot out of that part of the course.Of course the safety legislation part (nearly 2 days)was a bit much but how are you supposed to make this part interesting...all in all i feel prepared but hope to god i never need to use the skills gained.........

Suggest you contact Cameron (Aberdeen 282000), Vetco, FMC , Kvaerner Oilfield Products and DrilQuip. All these companies make and install subsea pressure control systems controlled by hydraulics.
They are crying out for trainee technicians here in Aberdeen.
