Unless they actually put coppers on the roads to enforce it, it won't make a jot of difference.

How dare you point out the irony to someone calling others idiots with their own poor spelling

Anyway, coming to a fire truck near you, ANPR cameras. I read in the paper at the weekend that a Yorkshire fire service are fitting these to all their fire trucks.

As opposed to criticising someone's grammar and being wrong to do so ?

I was correct in pointing out their grammar in the previous thread. Anyway, what's with the gap for between your last word and the question mark?

Won't get enforced, unless someone invents a camera triggered by mobile phone waves. No coppers to enforce it

This is good. I have to say that i have used my phone while driving.

95% of the time i have my hands free kit on.

Pisses me off when you see people trying to park when on the phone.

And while we're at it, what about folks smoking while they drive too ?
And yes, ok, applying make up, eating, reading the paper for god's sakes.

I read somewhere that there was, but I'm not sure - they'd have to prove who was driving, so it would need to be front-facing, therefore very sensitive.

Might as well add speedometers to that too. Imagine how many accidents have been caused by people glued to their speedo for fear of racking points.

The one I'd just LOVE to see added to it, would be women, (people?) driving whilst wearing stupid high-heeled shoes. THAT ought to be an instant ban

But you were wrong in your assertion, so how can you be correct in pointing it out?

Why should I bother to answer your questions when you don't answer mine
