Top Gear
Well, the media still says it's back next Sunday in spite of a BBC announcer saying it would be back 'sometime in February' So we shall see. Apparently this is the content:
Motoring magazine presented by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May. This week they try their hand at making petrol, deliver a verdict on the new Jaguar XKR, and talk to Star In A Reasonably Priced Car, Jamie Oliver. Plus, Richard celebrates his miraculous return to fighting fitness and shows chilling footage of his 288mph jet car accident.
Sounds good to me. If it happens.....

TBH that's what the BBC said and I quoted.
I interpreted that phrase (and still do) as BBC speak meaning 'axed'. At the time, the programme was effectively axed as the new series about to start was 'postponed indefinitely'.
After that there was a considerable effort on behalf of the anti-Clarkson lobby to make sure it would remain so.
It seems they might have failed..... for now.... we'll find out next Sunday.

Look on the Radio Times website, it's in the listings: Sunday 28th @ 8.00PM
No matter what certain people within the BBC think about the show, they can't ignore its success. The BBC earns more money out of Top Gear than just about any other show it makes. It is syndicated to dozens of countries. Bearing in mind the relatively small increase in the license fee that they have been granted, it was never really that likely that they would axe one of the most successful shows.
