If you want to scan a subnet for NetBIOS devices, you can use ws-ping-pro from ipswitch.com, but there are probably lots of other more 'targeted' apps out there

What do you want to do, just list the shares and connect to them, or automatically map all shares to drives?
Mail me and let me know and Ill write you a script that will do it, if that is any use?
You can enumerate shares easily...

aahhh OK..
Try doing a search for port scanning tools on the usual s/w archives on the net, I did this a few months ago and came across some tools that would find netbios machines and try to brute force them
