Hasn't a law just come into effect where anyone employing somebody not legally entitled to work in this country will get fined a quite large amount.
Wonder whether they were sacked before or after that law came into place.
"A Home Office spokesman would not comment on individual cases, but said it was the responsibility of employers to check workers' ongoing entitlement to a job in the UK and that they could be fined for failing to do so."
Anybody from Hackney Council going to get fined?

Corruption at every level of this government, its like water off a ducks back.
I wonder how many of them were arrested/deported for breaking the law, providing false documents to obtain money by deception?

What is more concerning is that all 40 odd of them were able to get "legit" National Insurance numbers...
