Audi dealer service
Perhaps a bit naive to expect more but dropped my car for a dealer service this morning, gets the lunchtime phonecall...
Advisory on brakes, 70% worn - fair enough
Advisory on cambelt, not due on milage but on age - knew that
Advisory on wipers, smearing and showing signs of deteriation - FRO, they're all less than 10 days old!!
There will be a rant and a half on pickup...

I would buy just the rubber wiper blade from the parts department and fit them myself. Oh and be a real cheap skate and keep the best front one and move it to the back and cut it down.
Or just clean the muck off them!

That's why I filled it up before departure
It's wound me up so much, you would think they would look at the wipers, go "Oh they're pretty new, better not chance it" but they can't even have done that.
Grrr.

There is no muck, they are brand new. Do not smear or squeak or leave trails. They are just chancers.

To be honest, my experisnces with Audi dealers have been very good.
My old man took his old S4 for a new battery. It went flat after it hardly moved after he got banned (I drove it about every now and then).
Anyway, we dropped it off for a new battery, and it seemed to take ages (30mins) we were about to ask what the hell they were doing, untill it drove round the corner. On inspection, the car had been cleaned both outside and inside. They only charged for the new battery.
Good service like that is hard to find, that's why when he bought his RS4, he bought from them.
Not all dealers are the same, but there are some good one's out there.
