0845 numbers - anyone set-on up?
I'm looking to set-up an 0845 contact number for a specific campaign for my work. Can anyone recommend a supplier that they've used before?
Thanks!
Richard

Just about every man and his dog does them.
Just make sure that you don't pay for it, and that you get a small kick-back on the minutes that are generated... ie they should pay you for operating an 0845, you don't pay them!

0845 numbers are local rate numbers - though it looks like you can also get 0845 numbers where the client pays for the whole call (http://www.telecomsworldplc.co.uk/0845-numbers.asp).
Thanks for the suggestions

As a customer I really hate using even an 0845 (local rate) number. The only reason companies have them is to rake in even more dosh so I try to avoid them. Even more so as those numbers are the only ones I have to pay phone charges to. I get free landline calls at home 24/7 and I get enough free cross-network minutes on the mobile that that isn't a problem. It's just those '08' numbers.
I'd try to set up an 'o1' or '02' number. Your customers will love you even more for it .....
