I always thought things like half-time were fairly universal?

In Northampton, Half Term is 12-16th (Mon to Fri) February, so the same as above, plus a teacher training day tacked onto the end....

Ours are generally, 9 times out of 10 on a Monday. That's why I don't work Mondays - so I don't have to take the holiday!

Private schools have a lot longer holidays too. Our local one didn;t go back until the 9th or some such ridiculous date!

For any holiday dates, best bet is to ring the LEA or the school, direct.

West Yorkshire - Half-term is in four weeks.
South Yorkshire - Half-term is in three.
That's a bugger for me and the wife, I work in one, she works in the other.

No, where we live all the schools seem to finish and start at different times in the area
Plus they vary nationwide too, depending where you live. If you have a child at school you should have a letter with the info on, otherwise ask another parent or teacher
