Question

Just done some copying from some minidiks, a lot of meesing about as I didnt know how to do at 1st, and i've just started playing them, cos it is continuous music it shouldnt have breaks in between
and guess what, i've managed to get a 2 sec gap between each track.

Im using a program called nero burning and playing it through windows media player.

Is there anyway I can sort this out without having to copy the lot again.

Edited cos I accidently pressed the wrong key and it sent the message.

Sorry mate the CD's are burnt now so you cant adjust them!, you could rip the whole lot to .wav/.mp3 (whatever you find quickest) files on your HD then re-burn them with nero but remeber to remove the 2 second gap first (You more than likely can not remove the 2 second intro gap tho)

Hope that helps
Cheers

Hi,

This happened on mine, and I had to change it to burn the disc disc-at-once, as opposed to track-at-once. This was using adaptec stuff, not sure about nero though.

Chris,

You've got it - just burn/'backup' with Disc-At-Once instead!!!

All writing software has this facility - some burners don't though (depends if you've got an antique burner!!)

Alternatively, if you right click (i think it is) and look at track properties in nero theres a setting for number of seconds track gap.
Just turn it down to zero for those tracks that dont split.

(just checked, its right click and the setting is called 'pause' just alter that for tracks that keep running - like pink floyd, marillion etc )
