Help needed to make plasma move
Hi all, I got my plasma mounted on an articulated bracket so I can pull it out from the wall and turn it 90 deg so I can view it from the dining table.
I showed a mate and he said he wasn't that impressed coz I had to pull it myself and it would have been better if it did it itself.
Which got me thinking
How can I turn a normal bracket into like a robot arm kinda thing
They can do it with boot mounted stuff on '***** my ride' so where do I start???
Cheers in advance

Agree with the mate being jealous thing. If you can get a robot arm to move the flat screen, perhaps it can shake the mate around if he's less than complimentary too.

Put some strategically placed mirrors up, so you can watch in the dining room and where the plasma is at the same time

You can get these, my bro just bought a huge LCD, and the guy in the shop said the swivel bracket thing, that can move on all three axis, can have a memory motor fitted £300 extra, so when you switch the tv on it moves automatically to where it should be

Aah yes, I did see that but my question still stands although slightly altered
Once the memory is set. You sit in your favourite Tv watching potato couch chair....erm......couch but decide to move to another seat as the wife has offered to stroke your....er lets say hair. How then would it move itself to enable you to watch the **** film you are about to watch while being stroked...follically? Or does the TV suddenly take a lesser role in the household aesthetics?

Just pay an immigrant to stand next to the screen and move it for you! I think one would look nice standing next to your fireplace, it'll give the place character.
