I'm trying to move my email messages in Outlook Express 5 from one PC to another using :-

File -> Export -> Messages

I get an error message as follows:-

"The export could not be performed. An error occurred while initialising MAPI"

Any Ideas?

I have had a quick look on msdn and found these two articles that might be useful, although don't explain what the problem is

This one is when you get no messages etc when you try and export, so may be realted but not sure.

which tells you how to do it manually.

Let me know what happens and I can see if I can help anymore, as my work is involved in outlook stuff.
