Tetris Champ
Yes I know I'm still living in the 80s, but have recently discovered a love of Tetris. My best line clearance is 131, what's yours? Also any Nintendog owners out there? I have a minature schnauzer called Eric and a shiba inu called Nokia. And I'm well in to my 30's!

Can't remember how many lines but a score of well over 300k and had the rocket many a time on game B.
Spent half of my 6th form years wasted playing that gem
Still got a old school plastic game boy somewhere minus clear protective screen and tetris cartridge in the back.

Not sure on line clearance but used to get over 400k score quite regularly. Was an obsession. Had to start on level 8 or something as you get a higher score for clearing 4 lines. Then you just gotta line em up with single gap down the side and hope lady luck deals you enough of the 4 straight pieces.
Funny was playing link up with my mum who was as addicted to me. Basically clearing your lines and they appear on your opponents screen. When you get a few 4 bars in a row they are screwed. I used to get so pissed when I lost that Id through the GB across the room. Never managed to break one though as durable little buggers. Even dropped it in the bath and it survived!
Classic game.

On Christmas Day I moved our portable TV into the dining room after lunch and hooked up my original 1980's Atari - what a laugh! Pac Man, Space Invaders, Comabat etc. etc. Can't bring myself to move it!
In fact - if hubby can't bring himself to spend our chrissy money on an Xbox 360 today, I may have to spend the weekend zapping aliens the old fashioned way!

try tetris worlds on the ps2,
not played it for about a year and just got it out to play now, two players, penalties for opposition, things spin round, dissappear, takes the game to the next level.

I'm glad I've tickled all your nostalgia buttons! I've tried to play my stepsons PS2 games - car rally, medal of honour, etc - and can't remember which buttons do what! On Tetris, you only need to know 2 buttons, easier for the older brain!
