Who else is working today then?...
It seems I'm the only one in the office!
Pretty dead in here, and very little going on! About to head off to Costa with a few others and take laptops so we can work from there for a few hours!
Seems 75% of people have the rest of the week off!

Don't mind to be honest. Everything is nice and quiet - it's a joy to use public transport (don't hear those words very often) - 9 people got on my train this morning.
The office phone hasn't rung once. I fully intended to spend most of the day reading SN and my newspaper interspersed with the odd trip to make a cup of coffee / go to the pub and then go home about 4. It's not really that hard. Not having kids means that it doesn't make a huge amount of difference if I take the time off over Christmas. I would rather use it at other times of the year.

Im in, up at 5am, in for 7am, leave at 3pm.
Fixed one problem, spent the rest of the time surfing the car forums, catching up on here.
Roads were quiet, but 5am, is still 5am even if it is christmas time !

Ive been called in for emergency cover, as someone is sick(Yeh right), been sat here(at work) playing Xbox 360 on the works projector all morning. Its the first time i have had playing in piece and quiet since i have got it.
It is dead, I dont think anyone will be getting network problems today with noone being here! crazy shelling out money for us to come in when the on call person could easily deal with all the issues from the comfort of his armchair, or down the pub!
I havent been on in ages how is everyone?

i was back in last night, and tonight, and thurs night. ah, the joys of working in a distribution warehouse, where most of the shop owners we deliver too dont celebrate xmas, so are open more often than apu nahasaheemapetalon...

Well I've just found out where all the people are - popped into town and it's HEAVING! 
Hurried back to the office for a little peace and quiet!
Agree with the earlier comment about public transport - if only it were always this quiet, then more people would use it........

I'm in but working is the alst thing I'm doing.
I brought in my new Jeremy Clarkson book to read and been on here and on Dell pricing a new computer. I'll be searching ebay soon for Impreza stuff and probably read my book again.

I am sort of in work "on call" had a couple of calls from the normal retards 
1st call from a vets 
it was a new member of staff but they had not given her a tag for the alarm FFS 
so she cant unset the thing 
Police called another life lost on there hit list 2nd call my alarm wont set "so" it says the door is open when it's shut 
get something to hit the contact on the door, off he goes and say I have found a hammer no use something smaller comes back with a screwdriver gives it a few taps 
job done and relax until the next spanner calls
