47% of asbo,s breached!!
And the Respect Tsar says she's not surprised
says a lot really.
She even goes on to admit there "Criminals, what do you expect"??
Personally i expect them to be locked up, or dealt with properly by the courts!!!
and then the classic spin
quote" The figures very clearly show that kids who are breaching Asbos are breaching everything else as well. It is not the failure of the Asbo, it is the failure of getting the offending behavior of that young person under control." unquote
Wasn't that the purpose of the asbo?? ffs
Then their having meet the council and coppers sessions to get things sorted.
so what have they been doing for the last 2 years then??

For the love of God if you are going to rant every single day blaming the government for all the nation's ills will you please learn to write.
I have this mental image of you frothing at the mouth as you write so much so that any basic grasp of spelling, grammar and punctuation goes right out of the window.

Did you ever stop to think, that some people suffer from dyslexia, and others through no fault of there own, missed, large sections of schooling due to teachers not being bothered, to teach but would rather send large sections of the class outside to do things, so they could have some peace and quiet??
Punctuation and grammar were never my strong point, and i openly admit it. But i don't post on every thread you do, having a pop at your grammar do i!
At least i get of my Ar*e and post on things i don't like, or see, unlike the pedant brigade, who,s only purpose in life is to harp about grammar.
If you feel that strongly about it, become a teacher!!!!

It may be (and i summise here) - that by knocking your grammar, it detracts from what you are writing for whatever reason
Systems like ASBO's should work and be a benefit to the scumbag as well as ordinary people. if 53% work then good, for the 47% that do not then tougher action is required.
Some scumbags are so far out of control that an ASBO means nothing, best course of action is to remove them from society until they are fit to go back in or keep them locked up.
Some comuplsary work training, life skills and lessons in manners would be a good idea!

Now if you do that as well fair play to you, but I suspect the extent of your 'action' runs only to posting on Scoobynet. Still if it makes you feel better then no worries

I bet your bobble hat, anorak, and sandwich box with attached flask is ready in the kitchen
try trainspotting, it might get you out for a change
and yes i do get of my Ar*e as you call it, i,m out most weekends, and i do make my voice heard in local events (local hospital closure etc)

f1 fan.
I follow Formula One also, but I still find myself feeling sorry for you blindly supporting this sorry apology for an administration. Do you really think they are above criticism?

Anyway does ranting on here actually achieve anything? I doubt it, although maybe it makes you feel better which is fine.

If you do not think they are above criticism, why do you rant at people who do criticise them and have a bit of a rant about it?
Nothing wrong with a bit of ranting though!

Some ASBO state that the recipient is banne from, for example, stealing cars, burning houses etc. Am I missing something? Aren't they illegel anyway?

Posting on just about every news item that can, through what is sometimes pretty perverse logic, be twisted to be the government's fault borders on the obsesssive and is not what I call a bit of a rant.
If we are to put up with it I just wish that the spelling and grammar were, at least, of a level that makes the post readable and (in some cases) understandable.

Its not his fault he's a petard, thats what comes of still living with mummy & daddy
and i bet he's bought and payed for on NL's books
It does highlight a point though, h,es more pissed of with grammar than the state of the country. Just shows where the apathy starts.
Its ironic, he can have a dig at me, (water / ducks/ back) but keeps schtum about the main issue.

On the above point though, the state of people's grammar is both symptomatic of Nu Labia's lack of education policy and an indication of where this country is headed if something isn't done fast! Good spelling and grammar are a good indication of a person's attitude to others .....
Dave
PS: as I said, I agree with what you wrote! Scum bags should be behind bars and left to rot.
