particulary important to single females
My mother in law who is in her early sixtys advertised a fireplace for sale in the free ads and the local paper.She recieved a call from a potential buyer who arranged to veiw the fireplace at her home. On arrival he entered the house to veiw the fire place and once inside started to act perculier and started showing porngrapic photos and videos n is phone to my Mother in law who was by now sh!tting herself and calmly handled the situation and managed to get him out of the house with him leaving a mobile number which she never rang.
He has now started ringing her with obscene phone calls and withholding the number.
The police are aware and have taken fingerprints and he has also stolen some money while he was in the house
This ***** is of ethnic origin and is operating in the Leeds/Bradford/Kieghley area please pass on to anyone who you think could be affected by this type of crime
Where does she go from here?

Get onto your phone company and get them to put a 4 digit passcode on your phone, i have one on mine, basically it will reject any call where the caller withholds there number, all my family and friends that block there number have the code which they have programmed into there phone so it allows the calls, anyone who calls and doesn't have this code it tells them that this caller does not except withheld numbers and hangs up

Next time someone arranges to pop round to view make sure someone is with her and as silly as it seems ask for there name and also to bring there photo id driving licence qwith them. If there genuinely interested they wont be offended.
