Yup, I like the look of that 
Been a while since we've had a good disaster movie - last good one IMO was Independence Day, and I guess this will be along the same lines.

Offer me one today and I will snap it up! Have a Darth Maul/Sith Infiltrator Transformer on my desk at home right now.
I did say to my Missus that if we ever have a baby girl I would want her to be called Megatron! She didn't agree for some reason!

If anyone is interested further. The official site has an updated trailer with Peter Cullens (Prime) voice at the end. It was part of a competition for TF fans to choose one line that Prime would speak.

Incidently, voice actors appear in far more things than on screen actors. In the 90s, Frank Welker (Megatron) was No.1 as the actor with the highest total grossing films made. Samuel Jackson was 2nd IIRC.

Jazz: Porsche 935 baby
Ironhide: MiniVan
Bumblebee: VW Beetle
Prowl: Datsun 280ZX police car
Smokescreen: Datsun 280ZX
Inferno: Fire Engine

Optimus Prime: Peterbuilt (Its Prime landing in the field)
Jazz: Pontiac Solstice
BumbleBee: 74 and 07 Camaro (He changes according to the script. Cant talk either so uses radio broadcasts)
Rachet: Green Fire & Rescue Truck
Ironhide: Pickup truck (Its Ironhide who gets out the pool just after landing)
Megatron: Alien Spacecraft (He doesn't have an earth form. Been frozen in ice for 100 years)
Starscream: F22 Raptor
Blackout: MH53 Helicopter (1st script: Vortex)
Brawl: Minesweeper tank (1st script: Devastator)
Barricade: Police Mustang
Frenzy: Part of Barricade (Script says Soundwave. Throws CD like discs as weapons)
Bonecrusher: Army building/utility vehicle
Scorpornok: Giant Scorpion (He lands in the desert so takes on scorpion disguise)
Script also mentions one shaped like an Ipod which might be Rumble.

Some say its been mixed in with the movie sounds of whirring metal and gears.
I can't hear it but some reckon you can in the trailer when Blackout transforms.

does anyone know the plot/backstory to this movie...???
cant find it on imdb or the website...bit nerdy i know but the imagination into these things is what fascinates me more than the actual movie...!!!

Theres a script written in Feb 05 or 06 but there are changes that can be seen in the trailers.
Megatron is looking for something and gets frozen in the ice age.
Humans dig him up and the thing he's after.
Autobots and Decepticons turn up and have a big fight trying to stop Megatron using what he's been looking for to turn all the planets machines against us.
I had written loads but thought the above was about as low spoilerage as possible.
Check out Sector 7 sectorseven.org
You gotta love Starscream mid-flight transform
Megatron is looking for something and gets frozen in the ice age.
