Takara originally made toys called "Diaclone" they were rebranded Transformers for the western markets.
Takara83 can be seen during the main movie trailer in the OP. When they replay the noise heard (Transformers language) at the Pentagon, at the bottom of the wave-form theres a small word "Takara83" As a bit of a nod to the original makers.

New TV trailer aired in the US over the last few days.

Not great quality but shows some new footage. Decent Bumblebee footage. Not sure if the "Its just you and me" is Hugo Weaving (Agent Smith, Matrix) who is voice acting for Megatron or Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime)

Nah, I've read the script so no what I don't like about it already. I know who lives, who dies, who kills who - which ones don't even get a chance to speak english before getting bumped off stupidly quickly and are nothing but cannon fodder (this is the bit I don't like!) NO SOUNDWAVE!
Footage wise I've only seen what everyone else has seen. Talked to a few people who have seen the special screenings so I pretty much know what happens anyway.
2nd and 3rd movie already given greenlight too
Was about to put my NSR bitching hat on
Sad enough to have all the TV series including Series 4 which never got translated plus a small collection I make fizz bang noises with when no ones looking
PM me your address and I'll send it to you. If its for your phone I think it will need converting to MP3. I'll send you both if needed.

Not sure if anyone is really paying too much attention to this but I'll continue anyway.
A recent interiew with a member of the production team for TF1 hinted that TF2 may well feature both or either the Dinobots (Grimlock at least) and the constructicons (Gestalts are very much on the cards in one of the sequels)

How comes you've seen it then?
Advances aren't till the weekend. It was supposed to be on a week ago in Birmingham but the pulled it AFAIK.
Just so the TFs don't feel left out, its more than likely Arcee will be in one of the 2 sequels.
