Question Advice selling a musical instrument?

I have rung around a few music shops today to find out if they buy second hand etc but no luck. I am reluctant to put it in the freeads paper due to the number of weirdos calling/hanging up!

Any advice? Anyone know of a music shop in the South East that buys second hand saxophones?

Thanks

Alot of music shops I know of will sell your instruments but on a commission basis, can take ages to get your dosh and they do take quite a whack I'm afraid.

Can't help with your area, but suggest you keep trying

Tell Bravo2Zero to buy an instrument more suited to his whinging windbag demeanour next time he fancies pursuing a musical fad. I suggest something like the bagpipes, or perhaps a violin.

I suppose he thought the saxophone would earn kudos points?

have you tried the local schools/colleges? There's always a good market for decent instruments here
