lol surprisingly no

Its not that im addicted to them as such, just that when I open the jar, I find it difficult to stop eating them

And after tonights tea the jar is now empty, bar a small amount of vinegar and a few pips in the bottom

Me too, always have at least 3 jars about because I put them on everything! Try em on Cheeseburgers! Legendary!

You like their taste for now, simple as

If you tell me that you eat West Indian hot pepper sauce with every damn meal, with Bird's Eye chillies to compliment it, I will take you as a macho

Swati I been through that stage once

I do have Extra Hot Peri Peri sauce in the cupboard, along with some other extra hot stuff from the states, and Fire Eater Fiery Mix, which is nice sprinkled on pizzas etc

Dont have it with every meal now though, mainly cos I forget they are there (cept the Jalapenos), wondering if its the vinegar side of it (high acidity) that is making them more addictive

Jalapenos on Cheeseburgers

Had Burritos tonight with Nachos too

Most likely your addicted to "capsaicin" the oil present in a chilli which gives it its heat. The "heat" is measured on the Scoville scale. Chiillies don't actually burn, they merely stimulate nerve endings and fools your brain into thinking you are in pain and will release endorphines to counteract it. This has similar effect to morphine and can be quite addictive.

You need help for your addiction before you move onto harder class "A" drugs, oops sorry I meant Chillies, such as the Red Savina Habanero, Scotch Bonnet etc, or if you're really brave, the Naga Jolokia.

In the words if Jonny Cash

Love is a burning thing
and it makes a firery ring
bound by wild desire
I fell in to a ring of fire...

I fell in to a burning ring of fire
I went down,down,down
and the flames went higher.
And it burns,burns,burns
the ring of fire
the ring of fire.

The taste of love is sweet
when hearts like our's meet
I fell for you like a child
oh, but the fire went wild..

I fell in to a burning ring of fire.....[etc]
