For TOM TOm read iPOD ..... same herding thing - however, in the case of the iPOD the sheep have got it right.

Pete, just buy one, they are all good, even Saxo Boy wouldnt do this much reasearch for a 200 quid gadget, get it bought, proclaim whatever it is the finest moeny can buy, job done !

I've got Tom Tom Mobile on my Nokia N70 and it works a treat. The only annoyance is the occasional bluetooth drop-out between the handset and the GPS receiver but you have to be bloody unlucky for that to happen at a critical point.
With that in mind I'd pick TomTom if money/cost wasn't one of the criteria for selection.
