Winter Beach Break February / March ?
Where do people go this time of year that is hot? Only have a week so don't really want to fly for more than 9/10 hours but i'm really struggling to try and find somewhere hot. Want it to be at least 23/24. Don't fancy Egypt and the girlfriend isn't keen on morocco which was my other idea.
Budget isn't that important but don't want to spend a fortune on just a week. The weather is most important factor.

I don't know my budget is pretty open but the girlfriend is on a slightly tighter one. I don't mind putting a bit extra in though. I guess 600 - 700 ish would have been ample for a week on a beach somewhere decent. Last couple of holidays I have gone for 2 weeks all inclusive for 1500 to places like mauritius & kenya.
I just can't seem o find many good deals or places to go

Maldives.
Feb/March is the best time of year to go.
Dunno if it's in your budget though. Flights direct to Male airport are around 9/10 hours, then approx 30 mins in a seaplane.

Oz is a little more than 9-10 hours flight away, unless you fit at least a 20G to the plane .
Have done Canaries and Madeira in February, it's very pleasant but maybe marginal on your temperature requirements, I seem to remember it was around 23ish on average. Defo cheap, only a couple of hours flight. Not that lively compared to high season, but still more than enough will be open.
Balearics will probably be similar temperature I'd guess, and cheap and close, but pretty dead that time of year.

Fuerteventura is the nicest of the Canaries IMO, unless you like lashed up tourists p1ss1n on your balcony! It's only 4 hours, nice beaches, empty, clear waters, very relaxing but limited entertainment and will be a third of the price of Dubai, which would get my vote, stayed at Jumeria Beach a few times and it's cracking!

Forget the Balearics. They will be cold and wet at that time of year.
Goa would be OK. It's cheap. Charter flights take about 9 hrs. Temp will be 30 deg C. It is all year. Price about £500 - 700.
Tobago would be a nice place to go. You might be struggling to get a package within your budget, but you might be lucky.
