Nokia advice please
I have a basic nokia phone for work and the problem I have is the voicemail comes on too soon. When i recieve calls it will only ring for about10 seconds before going to voicemail. Does anyone know exactly how to extend that ringing period so I dont have to leg it to the phone. Cheers folks

Just looked at both my Nokias and the manual for the works 6021 and there is no mention of setting the 'length of ring'. But is you go into 'menu', 'settings', 'call', 'call divert' - you can then 'cancel' the 'divert if not answered' setting. That way the phone will ring for as long as the person on the other end wants to let it .....
Or you could carry it with you ..... ?

Definatly a ploy by the service provider as they can then charge you to retrieve your messages. I used to have it and also noticed that I was ' out of range' a lot and got loads of messages straight to voicemail with no ring at all.
