Amazing!
Saw them in Glasgow SECC on thursday night-the best live band I have ever seen. Every song was great. Highlights have to be club foot and LSF!!!
Wish I was going again. Have Fun!!

Went last week to one of the hometown gigs in Leicester.
Bear in mind i am not their biggest fan on record, and in 20 years of going to gigs have seen most people worth going to see -
In my top 3 gigs of all time, atmosphere and sound were unbelievable. IMHO the best live band around at the minute.
Fratellis were distinctly average though. over hyped. Kasabian are definetly not.

I thought they were ok, highlights were the tracks from the first album and Empire, Shoot the Runner from Empire, they were good but they are one that didnt really do it for me live, I think based on the first album I have misunderstood what they are about, Empire has a couple of good tracks but not a patch on the first album.
The lead singer swaggers just a bit too much, its Rock and Roll but he lays it on a bit too thick, a bit of swearing is fine but he was just effing and blinding all the time, got a bit old very quickly. When Serge was singing I found it a bit shrill and piercing, not a pleasant sound.
The light show was fantastic, sound was LOUD but pretty clean, didnt turn into a blur of noise like some loud bands do, the screens at the side of the stage helped as well. Some of the songs lost a bit of the character that comes through on the album, the delicate synth parts being the main casualty, they were there but seem to get lost in the background.
The Fratellis are ok, not my scene but they did a reasonable job.
I give it 7/10

I'm an old fart, but to me, this lot sound like Kaiser Chiefs, Razorlight, Franz Ferdinand, Feeder, Editors, The Feeling, Green Day, Snow Patrol, Hard-Fi, Arctic Monkeys and just about every other boy band conceived in the last five years.
They don't make them like they used to

The Arctics have potential, but they need to mature a little in their writing now (first album was a cracker for what it was meant to be though!).
