Default So how many Discworld fans have we got here?

And who's watching shy 1's Hogfather next week?

Have to admit Michelle Dockery looks a bit cute

I don't have sky. Incidentally, I think Hogfather is not one of his better novels.

Cashing in on the Christmas Connection, I suppose.

Watching the making of it now, and have to admit it does look quite good (better than the animations that were made anyway).

My fav is Guards Guards, Carrot cracks me up every time!!

I was at the premiere for it, and some of the fans were just scary, imagine Trekies but worse!!!

I'm contracting to Sky at the moment... but don't have a dish myself

Big Pratchett/Discworld fan, though, so I'll be trying to get a recording to see.

So what if it's cashing in on Christmas? If it's well done then it has to be better than the endless repeats and rehashes of the same old ****e on the terrestrial channels, surely? I mean, with Eastenders (complete with a guaranteed tearful and terminal exit from one of the regular cast) on in the afternoon is it any wonder the suicide rate skyrockets on Christmas day?

Who thinks all the recent churned out books are the same? I have read them all except Wintersmith, and the last 4 (I know) I have sworn not to buy the next. Obviously I did like his early books and all credit to his writing and marketing skills, BUT.
May watch Hogfather, well, record it and wait till there is nothing else on.

No, I think you're utterly wrong! I thought Night Watch, Going Postal and Thud were among the best of the series.

Yes, love them to bits! I start reading them and just can't put them down. I love the way Pratchet mocks our science.......
