I don't make a habit of watching Sunday morning television, but this morning I was exposed to something quite disturbing...

What on earth are they thinking? Of all the presenters they could have chosen Channel 4 has settled for one of the most filthy, ugly, annoying weir pigs that has ever cursed the screen. Her gurgling, shrieking laugh sounds like someone garotting a wild bore. It's more like something you'd expect on Channel 5's 'Body Shock' series. Some horrible, freakish aberration with varnished lips.

Or is it a 'token' thing?

Both completely talentless, but at least that second "talentless bint" is a lot more attractive than Sarpong (mind you, so is a terrier that's been dead for 3 years).

To be fair, Sarpong has improved markedly since she first started. Now she can actually read scripted lines and make them sound semi-natural, albeit still in a really annoying voice whilst looking rough.

That one I'll have to disagree with; there's something quite pleasant about Helen Chamberlain in a weird Torqay-ish kind of way
