Please suggest some bathroom tiling colour combinations....
MODS: Id be most grateful if youd leave this in nsr due to the wider audience....
I am doing my bathroom up, going for a freestanding contemporary bath, suite is all white...
Im looking for floor and wall tiling, and am stuck on what to do...
Im after something pretty neutral and noting loud or too daring....
Any suggestions/pics?
Ta!

i wanted something neat and tidy, so went with like a grey/blue tile patern that runs out through my bathroom into the kitchen (old house , downstairs loo-great when pi$$ed). as for the tiles, i went with 8"x8", and like a blue mosaic round the bath sides and part of the wall. little glass multicoloured mosiac tiles, not transfers... got them for a steal of a price.
bathrooms quite small i know, but after this was finished it looked bloody good, and bigger. had a mate come fit the whole suite inc bath loo and sink, fit all the tiles and lay the floor ones too. just under £600 for two weeks worth of spare time.
sorry about the pic, with a cmaera phone.
i like it anyway

RIPPLES - All The Comforts of Homes
If you do a google image search for 'bathrooms' you will get loads of ideas, I would think a honey/ warm beige colour for both the floor and walls and then you could add a splash of colour with towels in teal, chocolate or duck egg.

for tiling though, i would recommend rippled tiles, give off a nice effect against light, day or night. the tiles on the floor are like a layered effect too, feels like walking on slabs. id recommend them too.
just dont buy a horrible tiolet seat like me. im unpopluar now

Have a look at travertine stone tiles. I think they look amazing. Go for smooth honed filled staight cut edge tiles. Get large tiles for the floors and walls, it'll make the room look bigger. Look way better than any ceramic tiles.
