one word
Shocking!!!!
been on the phone all morning trying to chase an order
10 minutes just to get a semi recorded message with some options, and then on hold again, been on for 50 minutes now...
still dont know when this christmas order will arrive....
no more orders or sales to them...

i placed the order last saturday, still waiting...
after 20 minutes on hold, i got a brief message saying when your order is depatched, you get an email.... if it hasnt arrived after 10 days call again..
but they dont tell you how long it takes from order to dispatch FFS
if this order isnt here by weds, i,m going to cancel and fire of a snottygram to the chief exec

Play.com is the best place by far and their customer service is absolutely brilliant. Been buying from them for over 6 years now.
I haven't bought anything from HMV for about 8 years now and don't intend to either, I usually find the staff unhelpful/useless at the best of times.

HMV can take ages but eventually get there.
Prices are surprisingly good for some things too.
I had an order back in feb for some records. All arrived fine, until the last one, for which they sent the wrong record.
Phoned them, sent it back and had a refund.
I then cancelled the order.
Last month, the correct record arrived- 9 months late.
I wasn't charged for it either

I rate Amazon's customer service. Placed about 4 seperate orders and always get an email when they dispatch. I get an estimated delivery date which has a 3 day range but in my experience it's arrived on the first estimated date. They have a system where they call you back and you can select a time for callback. It always works and i haven't been on hold for more than 2minutes.

i ordered my mums christmas present last sunday and it still hasnt arrived i rang the company and asked where it was as im going on holiday on tuesday she said it was despatched on the 6th so im still in waiting arghhh!

I've bought quite a few xmas presents from HMV online, all arrived no probs.
I ordered 3cd's at once and each came seperately in a seperate box though, seems a bit of a waste but not my problem i guess.

my gf ordered a cd last december (05) for me for christmas. unfortunately it didn't arrive in time but they said it will be dispatched soon.......still haven't got it
get an email every week, surely someone must realise that its a year late and try sort it out (haven't paid for it)
