WTF is the matter with that comment? I suspect I've been done by a Lord Shrek hating ****. This sums up exactly why this system is doomed, and the quicker the mods realise it, the better.

Sorry, guys, didnt make myself clear. If i've offended someone, or pi$$ed them off, fine, bad rep me. Similarly, if something I've posted has raised a laugh, or helped someone, give me a greenie. But, the post i left was neither of those, and didnt deserve anything. That's my issue with the rep system. Its open to abuse by tw@ts.

Really? I'd be interested to see a screenshot of say, page 3 of 15. I am fairly sure the system is configured to display only the last 20 Reputations in the userCP, if you get over 20 then the older ones are not displayed.

Correct it only shows the last 20 reps you recieved as my early ones have all dissapeared now. Not that I care.

Admin should have the option to turn on "show user name" for all reps so its pointless giving someone **** for nothing. It might work better if they did turn it on.

I'm yet to be convinced by the viability of this system as well. I think the key problem is that the majority of the worthwhile members probably aren't arsed or childish enough to use it either way. At the risk of sounding like a know-it-all I've been a member of SN for a reasonable period of time now and have a handle on who's who and I know that I certainly don't go looking at peoples posts and thinking about what reputation comments I might leave for them. The people most likely to leave reputation comments IMHO are the trolls who, ironically, the system is supposed to get rid of!

I have absolutely NO beef with the guy but I don't particularly like what he has to say. I do the sensible thing and don't read his threads so you should do the same. Hell, add me to your ignore list - pretty sure we have that facility
