Anyone here use an umbrella company?
Anyone know of any good companies that deal with this aspect of contracting?
I'll probably need to set 1 up very soon.

I would recommend Parasol. They charge a fixed rate of about 15quid per week for their services.
The main one seems to be Prosperity4, but Ive heard of some bad things about them not always paying on time, and they charge on a percentage basis not a fixed rate, so if your contract is paying over 200/day you will almost certainly be better of with Parasol.

I'm moving from Parasol to Giant.
Parasol only do the umbrella company format so, if you change your mind, you can't easily move to limited company or managed limited company.
The difference in take home between Parasol and a managed limited company with Giant is incredible.
Other than that, I'm very happy with Parasol and would recommend them if you only ever want to use an umbrella company.
