I pop in sometimes, but try not to stick around long so my IQ doesn't get dragged down too far by the Stella-swilling, Harvester-eating, Sun/Mail-reading, BNP-voting borderline racist scum that seem to inhabit this place.

Hi Newbie here!!
I was caught speeding at 2am with no-one about past a busy school at 3pm. It was a built up area with no signs and some bastad hiding behind a massive white van on top of a bridge jumped out when I was hundreds of yards away in a dayglo yellow jacket and zapped me. What chance do drivers get these days? How as I supposed to spot him in time? I have an NIP now which I received 14days and 3 seconds after the event. I already have 27 points on my license but this doesnt make me a bad driver.
My question is what can I do to get off with it? Oh and do I need a C0cklink?
