I'd be interested in knowing how much you'd be.

Ga22ar,

Xmas is looking poor at this rate!!!! I know how much you charge.

I take it you've finished your current contract? Anything lined up for the new year yet. The rates are really **** at the moment. I might have to work in London first quarter of next year just to get the right rate. Stingy ba$tards in the North wont pay more than £40-£45ph.

Jack
I have worked with Gary (Yosser) in the past and can vouch that he has none of the skills he talks about.

Mr Mon..

Nope my contract is still running and I'm soooo good they're be renewing in the new year.... but the stingy buggers have enforced a 10 day unpaid holiday demand for all contractors before the end of the year.... thus I'm looking for some suitable filling in work...

I can truthfully vouch that Mr Mon dresses well, but has no substance.... ,

Ga22ar,

Oh my god, you have contracted the disease know as contractoritous.

This incredibly infectious disease prevents contractors from taking time off on holiday The contractor can often be heard muttering to his other half while walking round the local shopping centre 'Do you know how much money this is costing me'.

The reality of it though is a 10 day holiday costs:
10 days @ £700 per day = £7000

Money spent while on holdiay:
Married Bloke: Whatever the wife can get her hands on.
Hiddent Costs: 10 days of headache. More stress than could ever be applied while at work.
Total Cost of 10 Days Holiday: ???????????

Single Bloke: Playstation 2, XBOX, Digital Camera, 42" Plasma Screen, On the **** every night, New Car, etc..
Total Cost of 10 days holiday: £15000+.

The more I think about it, the harder it gets to take holidays. This year I have had 6 days holiday (when my daughter was born). I have now decided to take two weeks off over Christams, it's always quiet at Christmas time anyway.

Hows the motor ?

Cheers
Paul.

Paul..

Yep certainly wouldn't be taking this holiday if I had the choice... The wife has booked xmas in Lapland which meant I was only going to miss one working day - which I can live with...

Now the client deciedes to save money and drops me in the poo..

Anyway the cars going fine, recently went on a Rolling Road day and got 300 bhp, only .5bhp less than a 22b. Also was only 10/20 bhp off the big boys who've spent alot more on their cars, so I was well chuffed..

See you been having some problems with your lip, dragging on floor is it - must be those naarwich birds...

Cheers

I'm getting very tempted by the new STi (prodrive one of course). I going to pop down the dealer tonight and have a little chat. I'm just a bit concerned that the suspension is not suited to our rippled and pot holed tarmac (how does yours feel) also I get the feeling that a STi WR is going to appear in 6 months time with the full power and appropriate suspension mods.

I'm also considering a BMW 330D after I worked out I would save £350 per month on running costs alone, I just worried that I might regret it afterwards.

Hey Ho.

Paul

Paul..

I must admit I find the suspension fine, very solid and only jars every now and then.. The wife uses it the most and doesn't complain..

I was going to go for some eibachs but the thought of softening up the ride has turned me off..
