Angry Has anyone tried to get any sense out of TESCO Customer Services?

I have a general question for them ........ it's REALLY simple (even you lot on SN could understand it!)

Question is this, "Have you any plans to start selling 48" and 50" Chest Jackets as part of your Suit Range?"

I sent it as an e-mail off their website .......... I get this back ....

"Thank you for your email.

With regards to your enquiry about chest to the suit jackets, I am sorry but we
are unable to identify the specific product with the information you have
provided. When looking into a query regarding a specific product, it is
important that we have identified the correct one and, in turn, provide you with
the accurate information.

If you have the barcode for this product, I would be grateful if you could
supply this to enable us to investigate and provide you with the information you
require. I am sorry but if you do not have this we will be unable to deal with
this query for you"

WTF????

It has NO BARCODE you stupid **** - Tescos are not selling it yet!!

I e-mail back re-stating the question and suggesting that it go to the supervisor

I get back this ...

"I can only apologise if you feel that my colleague has misunderstood your
question but there are certain details that we require from you in order to
investigate this. We require your Postcode, full address, telephone number and name"

What the HELL is wrong with these people ....... it's a simple question requiring a simple answer - why do they want all my details???

They may say, "Every Little Helps!!" Bloody Idiots!!

Rant over

Tescos are selling jackets for £20 ..... ideal for work, but max size is 46"

Which, lets face it, is the size of whimps!!

I want to know when they will be stocking REAL MAN sizes 48" and above!!

Mr. and Mrs. Vegescoob were recently in Singapore and each had a suit made there.
Superb fit and tailoring.
I suggest a holiday and apparel purchasing expedition combined.
Then, as many tailors there are on 'net and keep your "dimensions" on record, future orders are a click away.
For a man of your means, merely pocket money.

I think that your NL Government considers 48" and above indicative of, shall we say, obesity, and has secretly ordered all clothing suppliers to stock sizes under this.
Slowly those of that size will run out of clothing and rather than face the World "au naturel" will be shamed into a "reduction" programmme.
Hence the prevarication you have encountered.

Chest size doesn't matter in a car
