I want SPECS Cameras along ALL stretches of Motorway - I also want the speed limit increased to 80 MPH and prosecutions for 85+ ... with a Ban for 100 MPH and over.

I want mobile phones to have their signals scrambled when the car is moving - I want £1000 fines and 6 Points for using a mobile phone when driving.

PSL has a valid point, I would say increase the limit to 85 and impose severe penalties for those exceeding 3 figure speeds.

And what were the recent stats from the government, 15% of accidents are caused by speed, 85% are accidents and bad driving.

Get real you do-gooders. Even if everyone stopped speeding the vast majority of accidents would still occur.

Why not improve driver training and have regular re-tests for old tw*ts like Lewis, who would probably fail and leave this site for good . SPEED IS NOT the major cause of accidents on our roads, FACT.

Speed camera's DO NOT save lives, they raise money for the government.

We all know scameras are revenue generators.

Speed Kills? MY AR$E does it. Dont think ive ever been involved in an accident that was induced by speed.

Had a few complete ***** pull out in front of me resulting in carnage tho.

Whats the punishment for these f00ls? Nothing from the police, maybe get a 1/2 day training day to go on, so they dont kill someone next time.

Insurance might go up a bit but no points, no fine.

If this country REALLY wanted to improve road safety, they'd be doing something about STOPPING accidents, instead of just punishing people who speed.
