Far to early.

And those people that have a million lights up outside the home? Tacky or what.

If they get pleasure out of it I see nothing to complain about. It does underline the festival and it cheers the place up.

Apart from making the place look untidy and using up goodness knows how much electricity?

Wonder what people would say if Diwali or Ramadan got the same level of visibility for such an extended period around the actual (in this case Day) event?

next door neighbour usually puts hers up within the first few days of November.... and this year we have to contend with her back garden being full of lights strung up like a washing line !!!!!

the guy over the way put his up a couple of days ago... but doesn't go to the extreme of lights outside... well not yet anyway.

might not even bother putting mine up at all this year... but if i do.. it'll be a couple of days before xmas, and they'll be back down again on the 2nd January !!!!

They were up & lit on some of the streetlights in Woking last night - not sure if they were only testing them.

The tree's up in the town centre too - how long before it gets climbed or pulled over?
