I am 22 and weigh 14.7 st and have quite a beer belly. Its really started to get to me now and i want to lose about a stone. I am a Sales rep so i dont do a lot exercise.
What would be the best way to lose this. Should i join a gym ? .
What and when should i try to eat ? .
Thanks

Buy a mountain bike and try to use it daily at first it will be difficult, going to far if your not used to using one, but give it a few weeks and youll be able to go out for a hour or two, and eat sensible, you will see some good results

it really is quite simple. Stop the beer. All of it, not some of it, all week too. Not just weekdays.
When you get hungry, instead of having crisps or a chocolate bar, have a bowl of cereal. Something wholegrain btw, dont go for sugarcoated coco pufs!
It'll fill you up for longer and the weight will come off.
Promise.

Mate try eating 3 balanced meals a day, with no beer during the week.
Eat lots of rice, chicken and vegetables (not fried tho, try steamed or grilled) and if you need a nibble on something in-between, try and stick to fruit or low fat smoothies. I work in a gym and i constantly put on weight then go on a mad working out/eating sensibly spree, but in the long run a diet isnt about eating certain foods for a period of time to lose weight, its about changing your eating habits for ever, so its not a case of i can't ever drink again, or eat chips and curry sauce, just limit it to the weekends and eat and exercise during the week (at least twice!) and you should see good results

EAT MORE OFTEN try spliting meals down to six times a day your body is less likley to store food then knowing it will get more in a couple of hours your body will burn it steady all day drink at least 2 ltrs of water if not more keep to the body flushed theirs a good book called the abbs diet worth reading youl be surprised what you can eat certain foods work better with each other dont bother with sweetners as these are not natural and the body dosnt know what to do with them and ends up storing usehoney instead as its natural a glass of water and a hand full of almonds will fool the body into thinking its been fed and keep burning what its got natural yougart burns fat from the sides of the waist and eat plenty of protien as this starts the body to burn fat aswell
good luck and you need to stick with it as you will loose weight but wont look no differnt give your body time to shrink down

weight watchers does the job, I lost 3 stone on that diet.
you basically just eat foods that are low in calories and saturated fat.
also, stay off the weights, they'll only make you heavier.
try all the cardio stuff- treadmill, bike, cross-trainer, rowing machine and go about 4 times a week for an hour.
you should see the weight come off pretty quickly.

Again as said by KIPS,
Eat about 6 times a day but only healthy and small portions....
When I diet I use a 60g of carbs, 40g of protein for every meal....which equates to a chicken breat and half portion of that uncle ben's rice....
And once you get used to your metabolic rate being sped up, swap every other meal for a shake....(meal in a packet)
With your carbs go for slow releasing ones such as cus-cus and brown rice but try not to have any carbs after about 4 in the afternoon as you want your body to start "warming down" before you sleep.....
It does work....believe me....I shed about 1.5-2 stone in about 12weeks.....and keep it off....With most of these diest you see the weight come off quickly but then you'll find it'll come back just as fast!!
Stupid atkins diet....
Cardio wise you want to be doing it first thing in the morning and for that, it's a 20-30 mins brisk walk....
Black coffee first thing helps a load as well.....
As for "six pack" this is NOT just about doing sit ups....it's management of your body fat...most people have abs already, it just so happenes they're hidden under meat and gravy....
However all this being said, this time of year there is little point in dieting....what with the xmas party season round the corner and the big xmas meals to scoff....
Around february is a great time to start dieting as all the time waster, gonna get fit for my new years resolution w@nkers have quit by then and the gyms are emptier!!
Hope this helps

Easy solution. Give up the Beer and drink pints of wine or wine and soda. The wine is low calorie and low fat. And the big bonus is that you will always be far too pissed to find the fridge.
